Features

Wild symbols: There are two wild symbols in the Wild Toro slot. One of them is the Wild Toro logo. This wild symbol can substitute for all other symbols in the slot, barring toro, and the matador.

Wilds are also the best paying symbol in the slot. The second wild symbol is the toro icon, and this acts as a Walking Wild. This means that when it appears on the reels, it will gradually walk its way across the reels from left to right over several re-spins.

Scatter symbols: Scatters appear as matador symbols. When this icon appears on the reels, it will offer you a Matador Re-Spin Challenge bonus. This is where the toro wild symbols come into play, and begin to walk their way across the reels whilst the free re-spins are in session.

Toro Goes Wild bonus: At any point in the game, the Toro Goes Wild bonus can be triggered. When it is, the toro will attack any matador in sight. He can charge vertically and horizontally, leaving a huge selection of wilds in his dust until all of the matadors are removed from the reels. This is a very prosperous feature, and we would argue that it is the best one in the slot.

Summary

Wild Toro is a walk in the park. There is nothing overly complex about the game, and everything is as you would expect it to be in an ELK Studios developed slot, save for the graphics.

The graphics are sharp, crisp, and really go a long way to boosting the theme of this slot. Personally, we’d have liked to have seen the wagering range become a little more flexible, namely by doing away with the silly betting strategies. We find that they hamper gameplay, but obviously some people prefer them. Why else would ELK Studios keep them going?

Wild Toro is not going to cause too many waves in the online casino world as a whole. As far as ELK Studios slots go, though, this is one of their better releases.
