Spectra is the latest video slot to emerge from Thunderkick’s digital assembly line. The new online slot machine features a very 80s and very spacey theme to it. There have been a few of these retro video slots to be released of late, so Spectra could have some competition in that department.

The basic premise of the game is that of a fruit machine (of sorts), with shapes taking the place of fruit, and your classical bars, sevens, and bells appearing on the reels appearing on the reels, too.

Spectra is very neon in design, and despite its simplistic appearance, it does actually carry a number of special wild features for you to enjoy.

Thunderkick are out to prove something with this slot. They have fallen behind other developers of slots (when it comes to releasing new slots), so the fact that Spectra’s launch comes at a time when several other Thunderkick slots were released is concerning.

If simplicity was what Thunderkick were going for with this slot, then well done. If the simplicity element to Spectra comes because they were in a rush to release new games, that is a bit disappointing. Fortunately, the slot is so good that most players won’t even care about that.
