How to play Blade online

This video slot is short on paylines. With fewer paylines than most other Playtech/Marvel super-hero themed slots, winning often is more difficult. There are only 20 paylines spread on the slot’s five reels. Coin values range from £0.01 up to £1 and players can stake up to 10 of them on a single line. The cheapest stake in Blade is fixed at £0.01 per line, per spin. The most expensive and lavish stake is £200 a spin.

Icons that make an appearance in this slot include Blade himself, a female vampire, and of course, a variety of his deadly vampire-slaying weapons. Such weapons include an automatic firearm, silver stakes, ultra-violet darts and knives. Icons that pay considerably less are the high playing card symbols, which range from 10s to Aces.

The scatter icon

The scatter icon in this vampire killing video slot is the Blade title logo. This icon will offer players 15 free games plus a dynamic multiplier, when 3 or more symbols appear anywhere on the reels. In the free spins round, every win you acquire will push your multiplier up another level. During free spins, the scatter icon becomes a sticky wild, so you have two sets of wilds present during the round.

The Blade Split icon

This nice little add-in is the real star feature of the slot. What it does, is act as a wild icon, though technically, two wilds.

When four identical symbols appear on the first four reels, and the Blade Split icon appears on the fifth reel, you will in essence, have six of a kind. This combination is needed to win the big jackpot, but results in some truly big wins even when the jackpot isn’t involved.

The wild symbol

Although you technically have three wild icons in this slot (if you count the free spins sticky wild and the Blade Split), this icon is the true wild.

The standard wild is Blade himself. The Blade wild icon can replace all other icons in the game, with the exception of the Blade Split and scatter icons. You will need 5 of these to win the jackpot.

The Blade jackpot

You will need to make six of a kind in order to win the jackpot. To do this, you will need the Blade icons on the first, second, third and fourth reels. On the fifth reel, you will need the Blade Split icon. Lining up 5 wilds, without the Blade Split symbol will give you a decent jackpot, but the six of a kind win will offer you 25,000 coins.

However, this is also a Marvel progressive jackpot slot. There are four progressive jackpots, each of which is randomly triggered. Players can win the power, extra power, super power or ultimate power jackpots by a pick and win game, if they are fortunate enough to trigger it!
