How to play

The new Age of Gods: Fate Sisters slot features 5 reels and 25 paylines, and players will not be able to adjust those paylines, which is a bit of a change from Playtech’s previous slots.

They will, however, be able to adjust their coin values from 1c up to $10 and that will see their minimum and maximum wagering range rise upwards from 25c per spin, to $250 per spin in total. That, funnily enough, is standard for Playtech slots.

Features

Sisters Gift: This, the first of several bonus features in this game, is triggered by landing Lachesis on the first reel, Clotho on the third, and Atropos on the fifth.

Those symbols will remain there, whilst the remaining positions spin. The sisters count as scatter icons in this bonus. We’ve seen something like it before, in Playtech’s Iron Man 3 slot.

Fates’ Portal Free Games Each of the sisters also has a temple bonus, which count as free spins bonus rounds. Land 3 scatters on the reels and then you will get to pick a temple. What temple you choose determines your bonus.

Atropos Temple: In this bonus, players will start with 15 free spins with dynamic multipliers, which start at 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x at random. Multipliers can increase by 1x if Atropos appears on the reels, and dip by one if she doesn’t. Atropos on the third reel will offer you 3 extra games.

Lachesis Temple: This bonus round promises you 10 free games, with freezing wilds. Wilds remain frozen for 3 free spins, and if new wilds appear, then the remainder are reset. Lachesis on the third reel again offer 3 more spins.

Clotho’s Temple: In this feature, players get 8 free games with random wilds. Random wilds are added on every spin, and landing Clotho on the third reel will land you an extra 3 free spins.

If you’re wondering, there are also wild symbols in this slot, although they don’t really contribute to much to the gameplay, save for substituting for all symbols barring scatters.

Maximum pay-outs

As we’ve said, Age of Gods: Fate Sisters is a progressive jackpot slot. The jackpots are randomly triggered, and at any point in the game, players may be taken to the bonus screen, where they must match three identical progressive jackpot prizes to win said amount.

The jackpots include Power, Extra Power, Super Power, and Ultimate Power prizes, with the latter being worth the most.

Summary

As good as Fate Sisters is destined to be, we can see straight away that there is a lot in common between this slot and another major Playtech game. All of the special features (including the triple option free spin features) are identical to Iron Man 3.

It seems as though Playtech has simply given Iron Man 3 a paint job to produce this slot, but we don’t mind that at all. In fact, when Iron Man 3 eventually disappears, it is great news to know that you can still play it, although rebranded as Age of Gods: Fate Sisters.
