Genesis Gaming Just Released Euro Golden Cup Slot Machine
Euro Golden Cup is the latest project coming from the designers of Genesis Gaming. As expected a video slot game with a football theme was bound to show up before the Euro Cup 2016, so Genesis Gaming decided to be the first on the market.
In the past few years we have seen many video slot games like this, but it seems that none of them got to be very popular. This is difficult to imagine, with so many football fans among online gamblers, but most of the football theme slot games have little to offer.
We were hoping that Euro Golden Cup would be a video slot game worth playing to win big, but it turned out as a somewhat disappointment. The theme is football, with low level graphic and animations and we have to admit we expected a lot more on a visual level.
There are 3 bonus features in the game on 3 sets of levels in total. Each level is unlocked by collecting trophies on the reels and you need a total of 30 to unlock all bonus features. The features themselves are interesting in design. The Play Maker Free Spins feature awards 10, 12 and 15 spins on levels 1, 2 and 3, with a stacked sliding wild feature.
The Striker Free Spins feature awards 10 free spins with random Striker Target symbols in each spin. One level 2 the Striker symbols turn to random symbols from the pay table, while on level 3 they turn to Wild symbols. The last level unlocks the Penalty Shootout Feature, where the player is awarded with 5 shots on the goal, in an attempt to beat the opposing player.
Each shot awards credit prizes and each goal achieved awards an additional win of 2-5 x total bet. If the penalty shootout is won all wins are multiplied by 5, if it’s a tie the multiplier is x 2 and if you lose there is no multiplier added to the round wins. The pay table is weak awarding small to medium wins on the reels.

What We love
Since we are football fans, we have to admit that we love the game theme. Football is a great sport and we are happy to see another video slot game that pays tribute to the most important game in the world. The bonus features are also interesting and we like the fact that with all levels unlocked you can choose which feature to play.
What we Do not Like
Where should we start? The visual effects in Euro Golden Cup are terrible. The game looks like some vintage arcade game with almost no animations and effects.
The pay table is very weak and it seems impossible to win anything decent. Also collecting 30 trophies to unlock all features takes too long and eats a lot of your balance because of the weak pay table.
Worth Playing?
If you just want to kill time and spin the reels, then you can go ahead and try Euro Golden Cup. Base play wins are too small to compensate for the big number of trophies needed to unlock all features.
The pay table is too weak to award anything decent and it seems that Euro Golden Cup is a video slot game designed only to eat balance and award mediocre payouts. Not a game we would recommend playing for real cash.
