NetEnt’s new Warlords slot may not ride to victory

What we do not like

The type of imagery you will find is very akin to other slots released by the casino software giant, and there are numerous aspects of the game that might have you saying, “haven’t I seen that before.”

NetEnt has also kind of cheated their fans, but not really, with this game. The superhero themed slot genre is going to get old really fast.

This slot may be disguised as a fantasy themed slot, with 3 rulers of vast fantastical kingdoms taking centre stage on the reels, but underneath the axes, swords, and arrows, this is still basically a superhero themed slot. Personally, we’ve had enough of them.

Worth playing?

Whether this slot is going to be a success or not depends on two things. Firstly, what you are after in a video slot, and secondly, what you want to see in one. We’re after originality, and NetEnt doesn’t really deliver in that regard.

This is a tired theme, masquerading as something new. We’re also after decent features, and NetEnt do kind of deliver in that department, even if we’ve seen them all before. Warlords: Crystals of Power could very well be a hit-and-miss slot for many.
