Features

Wild symbols: The substitute symbol in this slot is the dynamite icon. As a wild, it replaces any other symbols in the game, excluding the scatter symbol.

Wild don’t have any cash prizes to offer on their own, although during the free spins bonus round, any wins you acquire which contain wilds can be multiplied by 2x, 4x, or even 8x their normal rate of pay.

Scatter symbols: Scatters appear as golden nuggets, and they also double up as the best paying symbols in this slot. These gold symbols take centre stage in this gold-themed slot.

They can appear on all of the reels of the slot and can trigger the slot’s bonus feature when 3 or more appear in any position on the screen during a single spin.

Free spin bonus: There is nothing terribly impressive to report when it comes to the free spins feature in the Twice the Money slot.

As we’ve mentioned, wilds can offer multipliers in this feature, and it is also worth mentioning that a second set of symbols appear (very similar to those in the base game), and they can be worth slightly more in the feature than the standard round, but that’s about all there is to this feature.

We’ve mentioned that the golden nugget symbols act as the best paying symbols in this slot. These scatter symbols can see you win as much as 100x your total bet if you can land 5 anywhere on the reels.

Summary

For an Ainsworth developed slot, Twice the Money isn’t a bad game. However, this slot simply doesn’t have what it takes to compete with the many other slots with gold themes. Bigger developers are offering games with the same wagering range, but much more in terms of prizes and features.

The multipliers are nifty in this slot, but they alone cannot carry the game. We’re not surprised that Twice the Money hasn’t hit its mark with casino sites, but again, it’s not a totally bad game to try your hand at.
