Silver Lion Slot Review
Silver Lion may sound like a rather silly name for a video slot, and truth be told, this is a very silly slot. At least, we can say that we are looking at what the theme of this game is supposed to be. You have a primitive, tribal, and animalistic themed slot here, capped off by a lion, which for no apparent reasons happens to be silver.
It all seems as though the developers of this slot machine couldn’t come up with anything else, so stuffed a lot of ideas down into a bag and drew out a silver lion. It’s not the most inspiring of slot games.
The shoddy theme of this Lightning Box Games developed slot is only matched by its rather poor visual appearance. We’ve actually seen quite a lot of decent titles from this developer.
They haven’t produced anything as dodgy as this in the past, so one must surmise then that the reason for the lacklustre effort behind Silver Lion is simply that they couldn’t be bothered thinking outside the box. When compared to other Lightning Box Games slots, Silver Lion is miles behind in all departments.

How to play
The wagering menu options are scattered across the screen in this slot. Instead of there being one set below the reels, you have a settings cog away to the right, your betting information plastered above the reels, and some general information on a runner bar located below them.
It’s a miss in short. The messy interface (delivered via the cog wheel) will allow you to stake coin values of $0.01 up to $7.00 per spin, and that, in turn, will see you able to bet anything from $0.40 per spin, up to $280 per spin. This is because you cannot adjust any of this 5-reel slot’s 1,024 paylines.
Wild symbols: Wild symbols can only crop up on the second, third, and fourth reels of this slot. Wild symbols can substitute for all other symbols in the slot, with the exception of the diamond icon. They appear as giant trees.
Scatter symbols: Scatter or bonus icons as they are sometimes called appear as silver lions. These symbols can offer free spins to players when they appear on the reels at least 3 times in any position.
Silver Lion bonus symbols: These second types of scatter icons can offer you cash prizes worth 80, 400, or 800 coins when they appear 3, 4 or 5 times on the reels. They can also see you win 8, 15, or 20 free games.
Free spins bonus: By landing at least 3 of the silver lion scatter icons, players can start playing with up to 20 free games.
Players will also be able to bolster their wins thanks to multipliers worth as much as 27x the normal rate of pay. During the free games bonus, players can pocket 2 diamonds to land 5 additional free games.
Should you fancy bagging a massive non-progressive win for yourself, then what you need to land are the Silver Lion Bonus symbols. They appear as red diamond symbols. These symbols are the scatter/free spin symbols, and can see you win up to 800 coins if 5 appear on a line.
Silver Lion is certainly not a slot that too many people are going to be quieting up to play. It has its decent moments, but there is just too much absent from this game to make it a hit.
The features are so-so, but the graphics are abysmal, and the theme is practically irrelevant. Lightning Box Games have created significantly better slots than this.
