Dodge City Slots Slot Review
Given that the Dodge City Slots game has been developed by the little-known Arrow’s Edge, we shouldn’t expect too much from it. Yet, we are pleasantly surprised to see that this slot contains not one, but two progressive jackpots, as well as a host of other trimmings which are very much to our liking.
The wild west theme of the game is a little mundane, and the graphics aren’t much to write how about, but all-in-all this is a fairly impressive debut from the tiny casino software provider.
The biggest problem you are going to have with the Dodge City Slots game is finding a casino which carries the title, as they are few and far between, at least for the moment.
Arrow’s Edge have actually been around since 2014, but it is only in the last few years that their slot machine games have really begun to stand out. This developers’ slots tend to feature incredibly basic graphics (as is certainly the case with this slot), as well as primitive features.
Their games are mobile friendly, and primed for desktop gaming. This makes Arrow’s Edge a minute, but competitive developer of online slot machine games. They are still a long way away from challenging the bigger names in the industry, but most big things have small beginnings.

How to play
The wagering menu leaves a lot to be desired, but we won’t hold that against them since it is most certainly extensive in terms of what it allows you to do – in comparison to other small scale developers’ slots.
It can see you alter any of the 10 lines in the slot, as well as alter your total bet from a floor of just $0.20 per spin, up to a ceiling of $250 per spin. We don’t like the overly costly wagers for a 10-line slot, though. That isn’t slipping by.
Wild symbols: Keep an eye on the outlaw, since he is the wild symbol in this slot. Wild symbols can replace all standard paying icons, but not other bonus icons. Wilds also have no cash prizes to offer you on their own.
Free spins bonus: Sally will trigger a free spins feature if you can land 3 of her symbols anywhere on the reels. They count as scatters, so you don’t need to be precise in where they land on the reels. The free spins feature is basic and offers just 15 free games in total.
Whisky shot feature: Whilst playing the free spins bonus, if you can land 3 whisky glasses, you will pocket 3 extra free spins. Land 6 of them and you will get another trio of free spins, as well as a 3x multiplier which will treble your winnings.
Wyatt symbols and bonus: Players who land the Wyatt symbols 3 times on the reels of the base game will trigger an instant win bonus. You can shoot up to 5 outlaws, and once you have fired either 2, 3, 4 or 5 shots, prizes are paid out and the bonus ends.
As we’ve said, there are two progressive jackpots to be won in this slot. They include the Cash Grab Jackpot, and the Super Slots Jackpot, with the latter worth far more than the former.
Unfortunately, we haven’t figured out how to trigger them, and the paytable in this slot is mum on that bit of information, too. One would imagine, then, that they are triggered at random since that seems to be the custom of most progressive jackpot slots nowadays.
One must take the Dodgy City Slots for what it is. This is a very simple, very basic video slot from a small-scale developer. Yet it can offer a wealth of free spin bonuses, and a decent amount via progressive jackpots.
Wagers are a bit steep for the number of lines you get, and the graphics are pretty poor, but we can certainly forgive this fledgling casino software developer for that. Give it a go if you are fortunate enough to find a casino which houses this rarity, but don’t go into the game expecting too much.
