Blueprint Gaming’s Kong game picks up speed
Whether or not you can call King Kong Cash a new slot machine or not, depends entirely on where you play your favourite online casino games.
The slot actually launched back in July 2016, but only at a handful of casino sites.
It has now been released globally, at all good casinos offering Blueprint Gaming software. But what is the King Kong Cash slot? As if you needed any introduction…
King Kong Cash is based not just on the giant ape, but also an entourage of human-looking animals, including big crocs, angry rhinos, intelligent-looking tigers, and more.
The slot features exceptional graphics for a Blueprint Gaming title, and there is something else you should know about the King Kong Cash slot – it has 10 bonus features.
What we love
How can you not love a slot which contains 10 bonus features. Not all of them are bonus rounds, either. Five of them are triggered via a single bonus round, initiated by scatter icons. You could end up with one of the five features, two of which are free spins, with the other three being instant win games.
The other 5 features are all in-play bonuses, and can boost your gameplay via re-spins, wilds, multipliers, and other goodies. The latter set of features are known as Monkey Modifiers, and they are only triggered if King Kong is woken up from his slumber.
Graphically, this is one of the best slots we’ve ever seen from Blueprint Gaming. It contains absolutely solid graphics, and some very mild animation, too. For these reasons alone, we take our hat off to Blueprint Gaming on a job well done.
What we do not like
There are aspects of this slot which could do with a spot of improvement. King Kong Cash features 5 reels and 20 lines in total, and personally, we’d have liked to have seen a few more. A slightly larger non-progressive cash prize would have been nice, too. As it is, the non-progressive prize in this slot is fixed at 1,000 coins.
Some players will find the theme of this slot refreshing. We’re not huge fans. There seems to be precious little to do with King Kong, which is funny given the name of the title of this game.
What we can see is any old giant ape sitting on a hoard of bananas and coins. Half of the time he is asleep, too. It hardly rings true with the King Kong we know of already.
Although we’re not avid fans of the slot’s theme, there is nothing wrong with its gameplay. The slot features a more than decent set of features, and plenty of them. Graphics are good, clear cut and a vast improvement on other Blueprint Gaming slots.
As we’ve said, the slot was actually launched this summer, but it is only now that it is beginning to gain popularity. You should be able to find it now, though, at all good casinos offering software from Blueprint Gaming.
